Step 1: Tap or click Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter to open the app

Step 2:UnderPairing fashion, tap or click Requires PIN code to pair

Windows remembers connected devices, so the adapter won't prompt yous to enter a Pin if you connect to it using the same Surface.

Thanks so much for your answer.  When I tap on Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter a dialog box does open, but it does not show an option for a pairing mode.  When I first installed and fix up the app, I did become that selection and I chose non to require a pin.  The Adapter did work for several times and of a sudden, quondam later on I installed Windows 10--not sure if it worked later the upgrade to Win x or not--the adapter is however working and displaying on my Tv set that it is ready to connect.  Just when I try to connect, the Adapter works and tries to connect to my computer, but the software on my reckoner refuses to cooperate.  I accept a new Acer laptop that I used to connect originally to the Adapter and I have not tried to connect with any other computer.  Perhaps that is what I should try--I will do that tonight.  Merely I'd nevertheless similar to exist able to connect with my Acer.  I will report back after trying to connect with a Windows seven older laptop.
